Kevin Tehrani, M.D.

Dr. Kevin Tehrani earned his undergraduate degree in biology from UCLA, and went on to earn his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College in New York. He then came back to Southern California and trained in anesthesiology at the University of Southern California (LAC+USC Medical Center). While at USC, he spent much of his last year of training in cardiothoracic anesthesia, with special interest in heart/lung transplants. His distinguished skills and performance earned him the honor of Resident of the Year by the faculty at his department. Kevin is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, holds a license in California, and is in good standing with no restrictions.

Dr. Tehrani has over 25 years of experience in anesthesia, the last 18 years in Beverly Hills, California. Kevin specializes in the care of ambulatory and outpatient surgical patients. He is a co-founder and the managing partner at Summit Surgical Center, one of the most prestigious outpatient surgical facilities in Beverly Hills, California. At Summit, Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day operations and managing anesthesia services for over a thousand patients per year.

Dr. Tehrani has a special interest in Regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy and its application in the field of Sports Medicine and Ortho-Biologics. Regenerative medicine is a revolutionary new area of medicine which aims to repair and replace tissues damaged by disease, trauma or congenital conditions. Regenerative medicine isn’t new—the first bone marrow and solid-organ transplants were done decades ago with tremendous success.
